March 25 - May 6, 2011 'Spirit of the River' Flood Exhibit
The Metro Arts Commission sponsors Spirit of the River: Perspectives on the Nashville Flood, an exhibit of works by 13 local artists in a variety of mediums including photographs, acrylic painting, encaustic and digital media documenting or inspired by the historic May 2010 floods. Location: Metro Arts Gallery, Metro Office Building, 800 2nd Ave. South, 4th Floor, 37219. The Metro Gallery is open 8:30-4:00 Monday-Friday and admission is free to the public.
